Team Spaghetti Dinners

The spaghetti dinners are given by the parents for the girls the night before a home game. They are usually some kind of pasta along with anything else you would like to serve. The whole team, including coaches, is invited and they usually come directly from practice which would generally be between 5:00 and 5:30. The girls come in and eat very quickly and usually leave right after they are done, so things are fast and furious. Signing up with other parents to host a dinner works well and is less work for all.

For those hosting dinners:

Please send a handout with directions and the date of the dinner to the practice a couple days before the dinner. The girls really enjoy these dinners so anyone who would be willing to have one would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please contact Marianne Berkopec @ 952-423-6735

Additional idea:

5lb box of spaghetti

4 jars of spaghetti sauce

5 loaves of garlic bread (this is a favorite!)

4 bags of prepared Caesar salad

Mixed fruit – apples, grapes, etc.

2 pans of bars or cookies

Drinks – water, lemonade, etc.
