Career Opportunity: Senior Media Strategist – Paid Search

Media Two is seeking a talented and experienced Paid Search Strategist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on various search engines such as Google and Bing. The candidate will need to have a thorough understanding of search engine marketing (SEM) and be able to optimize campaigns to achieve maximum ROI. Qualified candidates will also have a strong understanding of the role search plays within the wider digital marketing ecosystem. A minimum of three to five years of experience is required, and this is an evolving position with opportunity for advancement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and ensure accuracy of client reporting.
  • Review search campaign performance and support Team Leads on optimization recommendations.
  • Set up new search accounts/campaigns and implement testing schedules.
  • Generate search audit reports for new business opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new targeting capabilities within search platforms and provide troubleshooting on an ad hoc basis.
  • Contribute to company points-of-view on changing search landscape, including the growth of voice search and artificial intelligence.
  • Act as a steward of client investment, ensuring client business goals are met within budget guidelines.
  • Cross-train in other media buying areas including ad operations, digital, and traditional media buying.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3-5+ years experience managing paid search accounts.
  • Experience in creating pivot tables for data analysis.
  • Experience with Search Ads 360, Google Tag Manager, and Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) or other data visualization tools.
  • Maintains Google Ads certifications and Google Analytics Individual Qualification.
  • Experience with Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor is considered a plus.
  • Merchant Center data feed analysis and recommendation ability is considered a plus.
  • Ability to translate client goals/needs into actionable search campaign structure and performance.
  • Skilled in time management with an ability to multi-task across several client accounts.
  • Ability to work autonomously while communicating needs across team members.
  • Comfortable in client-facing environments through performance reporting and pitching new opportunities.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and data-driven.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic proficiency with Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • B.S., B.A., or higher from an accredited university.
